Green Monroe is Michael Spaly's solo / experimental recording project. He had a dream where he was back in 3rd grade. Everybody started whispering excitedly about a band that was coming to town. The band's name was "Green Monroe". Since he was not allowed to name his child after another dream-inspired name, he settled for naming his band after that nocturnal muse.
